Buster Brown Band
Legendary Funk /R&B band Buster Brown hits the stage with old
school rhythms and new surprises. Shaking up the music scene for more
than 30 years, BBB is still illustrating to newcomers how to lay it
down. Many musicians have come & gone, but founders Jim Casey on
guitar and phenomenal writer/arranger/ keyboardist Kelly McNulty are
still highly respected and copied throughout the industry.
Having toured the world, the Buster Brown Band has graced the
stage with incomparable artists including: The Gap Band, Stevie Wonder, Babyface,
and Sheila E to name a few. With the powerful vocals of Kelly, Big Al,
Roger Burton and James Kings your soul will be lifted, and your feet
will groove with the rhythm. And just a warning ladies: don't look in
the face of Roger while he's singing Prince hits, you will be affected!

Like a freight train rolling through the
night, guitarist/vocalist Michael Burks plows through the blues with
relentless power and a full head of steam. Combining his remarkable
talent with an intense dedication to his craft, Michael has earned
well-deserved national recognition and become one of the blues world"s
fastest rising blues stars. Although he was a W.C. Handy Award nominee
for Best New Artist 2000, Michael is a seasoned veteran in every
sense. His first gig came at the age of six, when, during a family
trip to southern Arkansas, the fledgling Burks took the stage with his
cousin"s band and thrilled an unsuspecting audience. Today, each live
performance is a testament to Michael"s thirty-plus years of playing
the blues. His hard-driving fretwork and captivating showmanship have
ignited a legion of fans, as audiences from coast to coast can"t help
but jump on the Michael Burks train.

Houserockin' and soulful blues, their latest CD "Blood Brothers" was nominated for 2009 Best Contemporary Blues Album by the Blues Music Foundation. Always a great show when these guys are in the house!
This year's New Year's Eve sky will be sporting a "Blue Moon"! (a second full moon in one calendar month). This is a rare event indeed, and will no doubt inspire much revelry and debauchery!
