Rick Estrin and The Night Cats
For more than 30 years and nine albums, harmonica master/
vocalist/songwriter Rick Estrin fronted the jumping, swinging Little
Charlie And The The Nightcats, featuring guitarist Little Charlie Baty.
With Baty’s recent retirement from touring, Estrin—along with the
Nightcats’ longtime rhythm section of J. Hansen and Lorenzo Farrell and
a new member, fiery guitarist Kid Andersen—takes the lead on his own.
The band’s debut album, Twisted, while still swinging the
blues, is a harmonica-driven, rocking, guitar-fueled rave-up. Featuring
14 songs (including 10 Estrin originals, two by Kid Andersen, one by
Hansen, and a superb band-created instrumental), Twisted showcases
Rick’s seemingly effortless command of the harmonica, his streetwise
vocals and his remarkable original songs.

Guitar World Magazine calls Mike Morgan a “genuine blues guitar hero!! ”

"High energy, doesn't begin to describe a Mike Morgan guitar performance. Get
the CD's and crank them up to 10. It still ain't live. Go back in time
and catch Jimmy Hendrix, SRV, Chuck Berry or any other "great", you
wouldn't have seen a thing until you saw Mike Morgan spit "six-string
fire" live. Mike plays with a hard driving authority that defines a
Texas musical heritage for those good enough to put their own stamp on
it." ~World Entertainment Network

Candye Kane with special guest Skip Heller
Superhero is the name of Candye's original song and the title of her latest CD for Los Angeles based label, Delta Groove records. It is also an apt description of the jump blues singer and songwriter from East Los Angeles who has earned this moniker the hard way. Nominated for three 2010 National Blues Foundation Awards blues.org for BB King Entertainer of the Year, Best Blues Contemporary CD and Best Contemporary Blues Female (the highest honor for blues artists) and beating down pancreatic cancer in the last two years, Kane is one tough cookie.
Multi-instumentalist Skip Heller opens! "Skip Heller knows his music. He knows how it began and he knows where it is today. AND, he knows how to make an audience melt. Heller knows about the great artists---he just hasn’t figured out he is one of them." ~Jazz Review.
