Mike Zito
While the south side of Chicago may be better known for producing artists such as Muddy Waters and Bo Diddley, the south side of St. Louis has produced it's own talent, such as Chuck Berry, Sheryl Crow, and now current blues sensation Mike Zito . Although Zito's songs are clearly rooted in the blues, there's elements of other styles as well. "Well, I'm not sure if you've heard of Bugs Henderson, but he did an album called 'American Music,' and that pretty much summed it up to me. It's blues, it's country, and it's rock 'n' roll all rolled up in one . . . it's American music," he said. $10 cover or $8 if purchased in advance online, click here

John Nemeth
"Definitely one of the best club shows that I've ever seen. John
Németh is simply the Blues artist that I feel is most deserving of more
recognition. Check the man and his band out whenever you might get the
chance." Don "T-Bone" Erickson, BluesWax “John Németh’s voice is a national treasure.” Junior Watson "I remember telling friends up North in '80 that they should go see Stevie Ray Vaughan, but they weren't impressed because he wasn't famous yet. It will give me great pleasure to say, 'I told you so!' about John Németh. You'll see." Bob Margolin, Blues Revue Magazine $10 cover or $8 if purchased online in advance, click here

Walter Trout, Chris Watson Band opens
Born in New Jersey Walter Trout, as any blues fan worth his weight in
dimples will know, is a guitarist, singer and songwriter who's career
began on the Jersey coast scene of the late 60's and early 70's before
going on to become a sideman for artists such as Finis Tasby, Pee Wee
Crayton, Lowell Fulsom, and Percy Mayfield, the guitarist for Canned
Heat and then the mother of all blues bands John Mayall's Bluesbreakers
where he made a name for himself sparring with second guitarist Coco
Montoya. He went on to form the Walter Trout Band - although the band
has also traded under Walter Trout and the Free Radicals, and Walter
Trout and the Radicals... "Walter Trout isn't just a great guitar player...he works from the
heart with a flawless and fiery edge. When Walter Trout plays, he owns
you." ~David Wilson/The ToneQuest Report
